Hello Anonymous,

Are you asking if bacterial vaginosis can reoccur with a new sex partner?

Bacterial vaginosis is a type of vaginal inflammation that results from the overgrowth of one of several types of bacteria normally present in the vagina, upsetting the natural balance of vaginal bacteria.

Bacterial vaginosis occurs more often in women who have multiple sex partners or a new sex partner. Bacterial vaginosis also seems to occur more frequently in women who have sex with women.

Ejaculation and use of birth control pills has no impact of recurrence.

Regards,
Maryann
