hi, im 15 years old and still a virgin. and i started my first period at 10 or 11 and they've always been normal and at the end of january they started being weird and now they're usually early and light so now they're like irregular. i keep getting menstrual like cramps and pain in my lower back an drew thighs and sharp pains in the lower left side of my stomach. my fingers and hands sometimes get tingly it's weird. lately i've been googling trying to figure out what's wrong with me and recently i've come across pcos (polycystic ovary syndrome) could that possibly be what's wrong with me? thank you

Hello Anonymous,

Welcome to EmpowHER.

It is not unusual for your period to be irregular when it first begins. Speak with your pediatrician about any concerns.

Regards,
Maryann
