Guide

Hi Anon,

Bacterial Vaginosis is an overgrowth of bacteria in a woman's vagin,  an imbalance of bacteria.

Symptoms include unpleasant odor, discolored vaginal discharge along with burning while urinating.

What natural remedies have you tried?  What are your concerns with the antibacterial MetroGel?

There are some home remedies like douching with Hydrogen Peroxide.  Although that has been known to irritate the skin in some cases.  Then there is Boric Acid in the form of a suppository.

Here is additional information for you:

How is Bacterial Vaginosis Diagnosed and Treated?

It's important to know that although it is treatable it can reoccur.

There are some cases that have decreased the occurrences with a combination of antibiotics and Boric Acid.

I hope this helps.  The best defense is to note any changes and work with your doctor.

Be well,
