How do I know my actual LMP?

The DR. goes by the first day of your last cycle. What if i had my regular cycle at the first of the month, then spotted a few days at the end of the month? This is before the periods stoped and I found out I was pregnant. Which would be considered my real LMP?

If you are concerned about knowing the actual date of your last menstrual period because you want to know your due date, go by what your doctor says.
