Hello Anonymous,
Has your physician given you any idea regarding how long it will take for this skin condition to resolve?
As you probably know, xanthoma is a skin condition in which certain fats build up under the surface of the skin. Medical conditions that involve an increase in blood lipids are associated with this condition. In such cases, treating the condition may help reduce the development of xanthomas.
Based on the two medications which your are taking, Crestor and Trilipix, I am assuming that you have been diagnosed with high triglyceride and LDL cholesterol levels. Until those levels decreased to be within normal limits, you may not see any decrease in the xanthomas.
Regards,
Maryann
