i am tired a lot and hardly ever hungry. the pain comes and goes but at times it is piercing. i have mirena and didnt know if that could have anything to do with it. the pain is mainly on my left side but also wraps around to my back and right side a lot too. i feel nauseous occassionally.

Hi anon,
Pain in your abdomen/left side/ovaries is definitely an indicator of something that needs to be medically evaluated.

You mentioned that you have had this pain, on & off, since your baby was born 7 months ago. Were you able to speak with your OB/GYN about this pain, which is at times piercing? If so, what information or testing did your OB/GYN provide?

Please call your doctor and make an appointment to have your pain evaluated, as it could be an underlying medical condition, a muscle strain from picking up your baby or stress-related, but it is important to know what is causing the pain.

Let us know what your doctor says!
