Could I be pregnant or is this perimetapause? I had one day of one small brownish discharge and then the same thing happened two days after. I am scared and worried.

Hello, You sound like you are going thru perimenopause now. I have the same issues from time to time. If you are concerned i would make an appointment with you obgyn to be your mind at ease. Hope this helps you and finds you well.

Hi Anon,

Welcome to EmpowHER.  Many things can cause changes to a woman's cycle.  But, because of your age.  It's very possible that the changes are experiencing can be due to Perimenopause.  One of the first symptoms a woman can going through menopause will experience is changes on her period others can include hot flashes, breast tenderness, vaginal dryness, mood swings, difficulty sleeping and many other.  It's important to let your OBGYN know of your changes.
