thank you! i am always worried im pregnant. i already have a 2 year old and would want another eventually, but it always seems like you re never really ready or prepared... i guess i will just have to wait and see. thanks for your help!

Welcome and thank you for your post. In order for birth control pills to be 99.9% effective, they must be taken daily, preferably at the same time every day. Once you have missed a pill, the effectiveness of the pill decreases. As you know, if you miss one pill today, tomorrow you should be taking 2. Still, even if you compensate for the pill missed, nothing is guaranteed.
So, to answer your question, yes you can be pregnant, but you'l have to wait and see until your next period is due.
