i discovered dark blue[black} circles around my calf,

i have staestasis dermatitis in both legs.i had sever pain in my right leg which i never had before. especially on the side of my leg{calf}. My legs burned and tender to the touch. This morning there were dark circles all around where my pain was most sever pain was. i am taking water pill[100} once a day. where compression wrap. but doesn't see to reduce swelling, any help would be appreciated

Stasis dermatitis is sometimes called venous stasis dermatitis because it happens when there is a problem with the veins, generally in the lower legs. These problem veins cause pressure to build up as the blood tries to flow through the body and heart.

This would explain the swelling and pain.
