Hi,
Are you noticing any other symptoms, such as an abnormal vaginal discharge or itching? You could have some type of infection that is causing the strong odor. Vaginal odor is typically from inflammation of the vaginal area. Inflammation of the vaginal area is often a result of infection in or around the vagina.
Bacterial vaginosis is a vaginal condition that results from an overgrowth of normal bacteria in the vagina. Vaginal discharge, often with a foul-smelling odor, is typically the only symptom of bacterial vaginosis.
Sexually transmitted diseases can cause vaginal odor. Make an appointment to be examined by your gynecologist.
