And another on the 24th May (it lasted only 3 days, and wasnt like a real period, It was lighter-I thought it was lighter becos it was a 2nd bleed and I had already taken my period that month)) My period is now 8 days late? Im not sure what to do?? I have been sexually active, but I didnt have sex on any of the days i ovulated?? Should I worry im pregnant?? Im a bit confused?? I have been having cramps like my period is coming, they were constant for the first few days, now i only get them now and again) feeling queasy for the last week (although I havent had it for 2 days now? My breast are sore (my nipples that is but just slightly) Im exhausted all the time and i got terrible headaches some days, my skin is a mess (keeps breaking out in spots) and have heartburn. I dont have any of these sypmtoms all the time...so that is what makes me wonder if they are linked to my period being late?? or whether I could be pregnant??

It's all really confusing, isn't it? Sometimes our cycles just plain have minds of their own. Even when we keep track of things on calendars and in our heads, sometimes our bodies have other notions and our hormones get a little out of sorts.
Let me put this in the right order, to see if I have this right:
On April 27, you had sex.
On May 6, you had sex.
On May 11th you had a period, for a week.
On May 23rd or 24th, you had another period, for 3 days.
Now you feel like you're late again.
Is that right? Do I have things in the proper order?
If so, it would be my thinking that no, you're not pregnant. You've had two periods since you last had sex. I would guess that the reason you're late and having symptoms (which can also be PMS symptoms) is that your hormones got a little off and now they're getting themselves back on schedule. The fact that you had a full period on May 11th and have not had unprotected sex since then seems to go against any possibility that you could be pregnant. You can always take a home pregnancy test just to put your mind at ease, but it would be my guess that your next period will come in the next week or two -- that in essence, your cycle "started over" with the short period on May 23/24.

Thanks for putting my mind at ease....I really wanted to be pregnant, but it looks like i it hasnt happened. It is the 18th May and still no period. I will wait and see if I take a period from the 21st June onwards. If not then I will go 2 my doctors and get a checkup.

You're so very welcome. It's so hard to wait and wonder when what you'd really love is to find out you're pregnant. I hope everything gets itself sorted out very quickly, and I wish you the best in trying for a baby!

This is the bit im confused about?? We had sex on the 27th April and then again on the 6th May. I took a period on the 11th (the 1 that was a wk early) and then that 2nd bleed on the 23rd May. We did not have sex in between the 11 and the 23 (my partner works away). Could i still b pregnant and take a period?? Is that possible??
