Guide

Hello Anonymous,

Welcome to EmpowHER. I am glad you reached out to our community with your question.

No. You are not pregnant. The bleeding was proof that the emergency contraceptive was effective and prevented you from becoming pregnant.

Changes in the menstrual cycle are a reported side effect. Some women start their next menstrual period earlier or later than expected, usually not by more than five days. Flow can be lighter or heavier than normal.

Regards,
Maryann
