I have been diagnosed with osteoarththritis about 8 years ago. Have had total 2 knees done and 1 hip. Also had lower back fusion. Why is my back still giving me severe pain, only when i get up and walk. I am 70 yrs old, and feel like i am old and brok

The pain is so bad i feel like i could fall or pass out. My husband feels it is my weight as i weigh about 240 lbs and about 5ft 3"". Could that be true??

We can't know what else may be going on with your back but your husband is correct in that your weight can definitely be contributing to your back issues.

You can read more about weight and back pain below. Reducing your weight will put less stress on your spine, hips, knees, and feet as well.
