Regrettably, I cannot provide you with very much information other than the definition of an aneurysm and the location of the carotid artery. Your best resource is your physician and a vascular surgeon.
An aneurysm is an abnormal ballooning of a portion of an artery due to weakness in the wall of the blood vessel. In human anatomy, there is a right and left carotid artery, which is located on either side of the neck.
