I have been taking birth control pills for the past 2years and stopped taking them last october.

I had a break of 5months and i deceded to take them again,but again i stopped, didnt use them for a month. i stopped and got my period for the normal time 4days and was still not using a condom.is it possible for me that i could be pregnant?

Anytime you don't take your birth control pills and don't use any other kind of contraception and have intercourse, you increase your chances of getting pregnant. In any given month, a woman of childbearing age in good reproductive health can have a 20% chance of conceiving when not using any kind of birth control. The surest way to know if you are pregnant typically is a missed period. If you expect your period and don't get it at that time, you can take a home pregnancy test or call your doctor to request a pregnancy test.
