Have you seen a doctor about this? Many things can cause or be related to numbness in the legs.  Certain diseases, such as diabetes, which can damage the longest, most sensitive nerve fibers (such as those going to your feet), can cause numbness. Sciatic nerve compression can also be a cause. In addition to pain,  common symptoms include pressure, numbness, tingling, or a prickling sensation that radiates down the leg.  Many people with back problems also experience sciatica. Injury or illness can also be a cause of numbness.  A doctor can tell you more.
