every 4-5 months..Been tested for several std-negative. what could be causing this? I feel great then all of a sudden-iget this irration that leads to burning and redness-irration, almost tingly feel at times too.

Hi,
Most genital itching and irritation isn't a major concern. But because they can be symptoms of an infection, it's always a good idea to call your doctor if you have any discomfort in that area. Bacterial vaginosis may be the cause. Bacterial vaginosis is a mild infection of the vagina caused by bacteria. When you are having these symptoms, make a appointment to be examined by your physician.
