How old are you? If you are in your late 40s or early 50s, this change in you menstrual cycle might be a sign of early perimenopause.
Were you a vegetarian prior to two years ago when your periods were normal?
Are you getting adequate nutrients and vitamins from your diet?
A vitamin or mineral deficit could explain the change.
Consider speaking with your gynecologist about this,
