The pain is about 1 inch below my 2nd and 3rd toes. The small spot feels very hard and I can feel it under my skin too. I noticed I started having problems when I wore the wrong shoes on a vacation and I was walking a lot. The pain is much worse in the morning. Very hard to walk on this foot.

Thanks for coming back and providing a bit more information. Does the pain respond to home remedies like using cold compresses, elevating it, and taking OTC pain reliever? Have you discussed this with your doctor at all? Do you have any other conditions that need to be taken into consideration?
Did you get a chance to take a look at the links I provided? Anything there helpful, or sound familiar?

Hi Anonymous,
Thank you for your question and for finding EmpowHER. Foot pain can make it very difficult to go about your daily routine. Is is bad enough to get it checked out by your doctor, or just an annoyance? Does it respond to home remedies like icing the area, elevation, and OTC pain reliever? How long have you had this pain?

I have had this foot pain since June 2009. It is very uncomfortable especially at the beginning of the day and it subsides a little when I'm on my feet more. It's at it's worst when I first wake up in the morning.
