I’m 47 yrs old tubes been tied 25 yrs...monthly 2 months late breasts and nipples hurts nauseous headaches backaches. I know I can’t be pregnant could it be menopause?

It can be. Most women go through menopause in their 40s or 50s. But that can vary widely. You may start to notice changes months or years before you are in menopause. You may have hot flashes, irregular periods, mood swings and trouble sleeping. This time is called perimenopause.    Although pregnancy is unlikely, according to the American Pregnancy Association, if you have had tubal ligation surgery in the past and believe that you are currently experiencing pregnancy symptoms, talk to your healthcare provider. Although the probability of getting pregnant is very low, it is still possible.
