I'm on the 28 cycle pill pack of Ortho trycyclin (the generic).I missed Friday the 13th & Saturday the 14th but took both days with my Sunday pill on the 15th. On Sunday the 22nd I started my hormone free pills. But on Saturday the 14th I had sex with my boyfriend and we don't use condoms, he also finishes in me. I typically get my period very heavy from Wednesday or Thursday until Sunday or Monday. But I only got my period very heavy on Thursday, the other days it was either very light/nothing or a little discharge. When I would go to the bathroom, some menstration would be in the toilet, but not the pad. I've been taking pills since I was 18 and I'm 24 now.

August 30, 2010 - 8:40amWhy do you think you are pregnant? Like Cary said, anytime you have unprotected sex, you put yourself needlessly at risk. If you are good about taking your birth control, and maybe use a back-up method like withdrawal, spermicide, or condoms, then there would be no worries. If you have your period, generally speaking, you aren't pregnant. Menstruation naturally can be light flow one month, and heavier the next. Try not to worry...if you miss a period, take a pregnancy test. If you are worried, take a pregnancy test just to ease your fears, and trust that they are pretty accurate at identifying the pregnancy hormone (read the box. I mean really, read it). Try and protect yourself better next time if you are not wanting to get pregnant. Sex shouldn't impart such worry. It's not worth it. But that's my personal opinion.

I'm starting a new month of pills today, is it too early for me to take a test now if I am? I'm freaking my self out and I think I'm giving myself phantom symptoms, my back hurts but I think I just didn't get enough sleep last night and I feel like I have acid in my stomach but I think that't because I working myself up...

Any time you have unprotected sex you risk pregnancy, so it is a possibility. However, having been on the pill as long as you have, and taking the pills right away to catch up makes it far less likely. If you miss your next period, take a test, but I'm guessing you would not become pregnant from this.
