I need a hip replacement and can't get any medication

I got a degenerative right hip. And a bad back. My girlfriend has to get me dressed. I'm frustrated because i can't get a orthopedic doctor won't even give me anything for relief. I got chronic pain that won't let up. Please can you help me. I got x rays, ct scan, mris.

Welcome to EmpowHER. Thank you for reaching out to our community but there is nothing we can do to get you pain medication.

Why is the orthopedic surgeon refusing to prescribe pain medication? Are you scheduled for the hip replacement surgery?
