I really need someone to talk to, please. I'm finding it difficult to feel 'get my head around things' and act 'normally'. My best friend told me she has just lost her virginity today after coming out of her first proper relationship. My other best friend has been in a relationship for six months and is thinking of having sex (yet she wont talk to me about it, only to our other friend - but that's another story for another day). I have never been kissed or had a boyfriend, and while I admit being alone when they're not does make me jealous, I don't always feel like this.
Please, anyone, I feel so alone and just need a friendly ear or some helpful advice.
Thanks for taking the time to read this.

Hi,
April 19, 2011 - 5:14pmWelcome to EmpowHer and I will be your friendly ear....You are not alone and maybe, someone else who is feeling the same way will read your message and join in the conversation. Adolescence is not an easy time. Your best friends are making choices, that as it sounds to me, you are not comfortable with. Sounds like the friends you felt close to are now going in a direction that leaves you out and alone. When the time is right for you, that special young man will come along, you will be loved, you will be kissed and you will have a boyfriend...all when the time is right.

Hi Star-94,
I agree with Maryann, and it actually is GOOD to feel what you are feeling. It means you are being thoughtful, considerate and caring...these are EXCELLENT qualities (even though sometimes they carry a burden that makes us feel sad or alone). I hope you continue being so thoughtful, which will help you make decisions in your life that make you happy and feel good. You can continue being a good friend by listening and supporting, without feeling that you need to succumb to choices you disagree with for yourself.
What people and activities make you feel happy and good right now?

Like I said to Maryann, you don't know how much relief I feel and how 'normal' you made me feel when you said "it actually is GOOD to feel what you are feeling". So thank you, so much! :)
Right now, I love to read and shop (what girl doesn't? lol). I have a really close friend called Chris too; he makes me happy.
