day to remove my ovary and Fallopian tube. And it was also discovered a cyst 2.5 cm on my left ovary which was drained. It has been four weeks since the operation and I get so tired and am still uncomfortable. I also have very low moods. Is this normal?

Hi Anon,
Thank you for sharing your question with the EmpowHER community.
It depends which type of surgery you had to remove the cyst.
Smaller cyst typically require laparoscopy surgery and recovery is anywhere from 2-4 weeks. Surgery on larger cyst are called laparotomy which usually has a longer recovery time, anywhere from around six to eight weeks.
How long did your doctor say your recovery time would be?
Because your hormones are more than likely fluctuating, it would not be uncommon for you to have low mood or mood swings.
