Hi Anonymous

Boy, you are going through a lot. I'm sorry. I do have a thought, though. Clobetasol is a steroid cream, and works for dermatitis and other kinds of itching. But with all of your medical issues and the medications you probably take, what you may have is a yeast infection.

Have you told your physician the cream isn't working? Have you tried treating for yeast overgrowth? It is a very common issue in post-op patients, and people with immune problems. You may even see signs of it elsewhere, such as thrush in your mouth, or a rash under your arms or in skin folds.

I suggest asking your doctor if it could be yeast. The treatment can be a pill, or it can be over the counter vaginal cream. If it is yeast, you can also try decreasing your sugar intake, drinking cranberry juice and eating yogurt to help balance your vaginal flora in addition to medication.

I hope this helps. Please let us know, and thank you for writing. Be good to yourself.
