Hello trizah wanja,
Welcome to the EmpowHER community. Thank you for reaching out to us with your question.
I understand your challenge of having an irregular menstrual cycle. But, if your period started on March 26, April 2 would have been day 8 of your new menstrual cycle. You are most likely to become pregnant by having unprotected intercourse five days before ovulation and on the day of ovulation. So, this happened six days before ovulation.
Inside a woman's body, sperm can live for up to five days depending on the conditions. If you have unprotected sex even a few days before you ovulated, there is a chance of achieving a pregnancy.
trizah wanja, all that you can do now is wait for your March period to start. If it is late by more than one week, do test for pregnancy.
Consider scheduling an appointment with a gynecologist who can suggest oral contraceptive use to regulate your menstrual cycle and offer future protection from an unwanted pregnancy.
