ok so im 14 and i have just gotten really bad pain my my sides right and left this is the first time it happened and its been going on for at least a day and it hurts so bad i feel like im going to cry i told my mom about this and she told me to take an advil and 2 tumbs amd nothing has helped do you know whats happening and idk if its my period but my period cramps never hurt this bad

Since the location of the pain is very particular to the kidney it could be related to kidneys problem. Especially if the pain wraps around your sides to the back. If the pain continues, I highly suggest you have an ultrasound taken of your kidneys.
Symptoms of kidney trouble can arise suddenly and can be very serious, that is why you should not put off going to the doctor if the pain persists.
