Hi I usually have a regular 31 day cycle
I think I ovulated around the 4th to the 9th

Had intercourse a number of times during the month prior to this and during the fertile window

A week before my due period I experienced red to pink spotting only on wiping I thought it was my period coming. That lasted for 5 days. I had a day break from any bleeding or discharge and then the following day i experienced brown discharge watery. That lasted 2 days and now it's changed colour again it's pinky orange tinge. What is this please should I be worried and see my doctor.

I'm 4 days late for a period this isn't a flow and it doesn't gush like my usual heavy period. My period is always very heavy and very painful and I'm only experiencing light cramp with this. All recent HPT are negative

Hello AnaraRose557,

Welcome to the EmpowHER community, Thank you for reaching out to us with your question.

This does not sound like implantation bleeding. Typically, implantation bleeding, which can occur during some pregnancies, is noticed about six to 12 days following conception. Many women mistake it for the start of their period. It is pink to brown spotting, lasts about two to three days and never increases to a flow.

Please reach out to your gynecologist to report this. Considering you have had frequent intercourse since your last period, you may be pregnant. Your physician can order blood tests, including a blood pregnancy test, to check your hormone levels.

Kindly keep us updated,
