Hi tlibra,
Can you explain to us more about why you had the procedure done, what the results were, and if you have ever been diagnosed with depression in the past?

The LEEP procedure would not "cause" depression, but depending on your emotional and mental state before the procedure (if you were extremely nervous about the procedure itself or the outcome), if you have been sad, blue, depressed previously, or if the outcome of the procedure has caused sadness or depression...it is plausible that you could experience depressive symptoms afterwards. It is common for people to experience every/all emotion after medical procedures or after medical diagnosis.

Please let us know more details about your physical, emotional and mental health (before and after procedure), along with any conditions or diagnosis you have received, and we can offer more support or information to help!
