I never really kept track of when my period started from month to month, I mean, as a kid I did, but I have since grown out of keeping track. Now though my husband and I are trying for a baby and have to count the days to my cycle and even pinpointing my ovulation day. It's not easy. I had been on birth control for 11 or so years, and recently got off. Now I have regular periods every month, instead of 4 a year on Yasmin. My last period started on April 23, 2011 and I have not gotten one since. Do I attribute this to an abnormal cycle or being pregnant? I do have many symptoms of pregnancy. It is June 7th today. We plan to take a pregnancy test tonight, but I was just wondering now. Any thoughts?

Hi,
June 7, 2011 - 4:24pmI hope you read this reply before you take the home pregnancy test. I think it is recommended that you test the first urine of the morning. But, certainly read the directions and follow them carefully for the most accurate results. You are doing the right thing by taking a home pregnancy test. This is really the only way, unless you opt for a blood pregnancy test, to know if you are pregnant. Good Luck!
