Hi Healthprotector-

Congratulations on your pregnancy!

As for the pain, I'm not sure if you meant you already saw the doctor about this, or you plan to see the doctor. Crampy abdominal pain during early pregnancy is not uncommon, and neither is spotting although I'm not sure if that was what you meant by discharge. Another common issue during pregnancy is constipation. That can also cause lower abdominal pain. I found a link to a Mayo Clinic article on these topics: http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/symptoms-of-pregnancy/PR00102

Our site also has quite a bit of pregnancy information. You can start searching here: https://www.empowher.com/condition/search/phrases/pregnancy?page=1

I would suggest you see your obstetrician if you haven't already, or at least call the office and discuss your symptoms just to be sure they are nothing to be concerned about. But feel free to write again and if you can be a little more specific maybe we can help you further. When I was pregnant, I often felt like an alien had taken over my body. You have all these new sensations and you aren't sure what they are, and it can be a little scary. Often what you are experiencing is totally normal, but the worry can be overwhelming.

Sometimes a heating pad will help relieve a little discomfort, and if the issue is constipation, more fluids, more fiber, and more activity will help. Again, congrats on the pregnancy and please let us know if we can be of further assistance!
