I am 34 years old and have two children.I dicovered 2 fibromyomas 6 years back. They grew during my second pregnancy and are now sized 10x6 and 5x2.5cms.I suffer from dysmenorrhoea, discomfort while bending or sitting for long hours which my job entails.I would like to know if this treatment would be effective for me.Would there happen to be anyone trained in this procedure in India ?

Hi, Anon, and welcome to EmpowHer. Thanks so much for your question.

I am slightly confused by your question. Are you wanting to find someone who will use an MRI or ultrasound scan to confirm or visualize your fibroids (fibromyomas)? Magnetic resonance and ultrasound are both used to help diagnose this, but they are not treatment.

Or are you hoping to have them treated and/or removed?

You say you found them during your second pregnancy; what does your doctor recommend?

Can you be a little more specific about the information you're seeking? We want to help!
