Monthly issues

My period has always been a problem for me. Recently I haven't had it for 2 months but all pregnancy tests are coming up negative. Mind you, this is the cheap Dollar tests. I haven't been to the doctor seeing how my work schedule has me there more than I'm home.
I have gone 4-5 months without mother nature giving me her visit and when it hits it is so painful!!
Every time I go to the doctor they just poke my stomach with their finger and say, "oh your fine"...
Any ideas???

Guide

Hello Anonymous,

Welcome to EmpowHER. Thank you for coming to us with your menstrual cycle concern.

The menstrual cycle is regulated by a precise balance of hormones. Any upset in that balance will cause changes or irregularities.

Consider finding a new gynecologist. Dispelling your situation as all is fine is unacceptable, because something is wrong.

Regards,
Maryann
