My blood sugar is 58 is that too low

Blood glucose numbers can vary throughout the day.

For someone without diabetes, a fasting blood sugar on awakening should be under 100 mg/dl. Before-meal normal sugars are 70–99 mg/dl. “Postprandial” sugars taken two hours after meals should be less than 140 mg/dl.

A reading of 58 is low, but without more information, such as gender, age and underlying medical conditions and medication, it is based on general information.
