Im 23 years and have a 2 year old. I had him by C-section. My husband and I are now trying to get pregnant again but for the last 8 months ive gotten my period every other month. I got it at the end of June, August, October, December and February. Is there something wrong with me or am I going crazy?

Kel,

Thank you for your post.

Unfortunately our body acts in certain ways after we have children (sometimes even before). After I had my son my period came every 38 days as opposed to its usual 28 but there was absolutely nothing wrong with me as I am sure there is most likely nothing wrong with you. You still ovulate, though at a different date now. With age, pregnancies, time, etc our periods are prone to change and that can be very normal.

If you are still concerned about it-- speak to your doctor. My thing is "not all periods are created equal." Some are longer, some are shorter, some are heavy, some are lighter... but at the end of the day as long as your body is still serving its proper function that is really all that matters.
