Q:

My feet are killing me ! I recently started raising my feet above my head when I sleep , and this has helped tremendously. I'm wondering why they hurt ?

Hi Anon,

Sorry to hear that! Is it just your feet or does the pain extend to your legs? Is there any more information you can give us? Feet Pain is a very broad subject and can be many, many things. Did you recently injure your foot/feet? Is it only at night? What makes it better? Worse? What part of the foot is in pain?

Any other info you could provide us with would help us help you faster.

Thanks!

Rosa

Thanks , well yes the pain does extend to the lower part of my legs at times. the only relief I've found is to prop them over my head for an extended amount of time. I haven't recently injured my feet, however I am over weight and trying desperately to shed pounds. However with my feet problem it's hard to persevere. It's not only at night it's only worse at night ! I normally get pedicures but until recently it even hurts to the touch! and it's not the head or the sole of my feet it;s the top . It's as if I can feel blood running through my veins . So what do you think ? Am I dying or what ?

Hi Anon,

I think this may have something to do with circulation and you may benefit tremendously from seeing a doctor. Do you have health insurance? I definitely think that you should see a doctor about this and have him do a physical exam along with any other necessary exams. Shedding pounds may undoubtedly help you, however I don't think you should wait to see a doctor.

P.S. I don't think you're dying but I do think you should see a doctor so that you can find some help & comfort sooner rather than later :)
