I have RA, but taking methotrexate injections 1 time a week. Been on it for over 7 years and joints are fine. After I am done exercising, and I sit down for 10 min. or more I get up and my hip bones really hurt until I am on them a while and then it goes away. What could it be RA?

Anon - The pain could be related to your arthritis but it could also be caused by a number of other conditions including osteonecrosis, tendonitis, bursitis, a fracture and even a spinal condition that is causing referred pain in the hip region. It would be a good idea to see your medical provider and find out exactly what's going on. Please let us know what you learn. Pat
