peed or pooped since throwing up yesterday. we are worried it could be ulcer or kidney failure that's what we are concerned about

The biggest concern is no urination. Drinking a lot of beer should have caused him to urinate, a lot.
An enlarged prostate might be the problem. This can cause the urine to accumulate in the bladder instead of being eliminated.
He needs an ultrasound of the abdomen and pelvis to make a diagnosis. Do you have a primary care physician?
If not, I suggest that your husband go to the emergency room of your local hospital. No urination, vomiting and no bowel movements are symptoms which cannot be overlooked. He needs blood test, diagnostic screening and physical evaluation, immediately.
