Q:

My mom says that her pessary removal is the most painful thing she has experienced, worse than birthing her 3 children. Any advice as to how to make it a little less painful. She has it removed at the women's clinic every 3 months. Thank you.

Just found this site and I see your post is a year old but wanted to ask. If it is painful because they have work there way up the vagina to retrieve it or is the pain from it coming out. I ask because I have come up with a pessary pull aid that makes it easy to pull the pessary out. I have used mine for 2 years and take mine out every 3 or 4 days for cleaning. If you want more info let me know.
