Hello Anon

Thank you for writing.

Do you have a history of liver disease?

A very high AST count may be due to hepatitis.

The swelling may be due to ascites - this is a fluid buildup in the abdominal cavity and is caused by liver disease. Anon, you need to get a diagnosis from your doctor so we can help you further but it does appear that liver disease may be the issue here.

Please get back to us with more information when you have it.
Best,
Susan
