Why did you have an ultrasound conducted? Was this to test for pregnancy, or another condition?
If you do not want to become pregnant now, you would need to use a reliable form of birth control for the future. If you have recently been to the doctor for your symptoms (lack of period, I assume), it would be important to follow-up with your doctor regarding any testing results. Otherwise, women can be "late" or even miss a period, and it does not indicate a pregnancy. I assume other medical reasons have been ruled out for a late period by your recent doctor's visit?
