Thank you for your post.
It sounds like you might have a corn or a callus - thick, hard sections of skin that form from too much pressure or friction on the feet. Corns and calluses can be caused by a number of problems, but especially by wearing poorly fitting shoes. These conditions aren't serious, but they can result in foot pain. In your case, toe pain. See your doctor or a podiatrist (foot doctor) who can tell you for sure.
