No period yet after taking plan b, could i be pregnant? or the delay is because of pill?

My situation is me and my husband had unprotected sex with pull out method(he didn't ejaculate in me) on 13th morning and 14th night of this month, and my period was due on 13th feb, i mean i had periods on jan 13th and was expecting the same in on feb 13th too, since v had unprotected sex exactly on 13th and 14th of feb i did not get my periods till 17th of feb, then i took plan b on 17thfeb noon(thinking m within that 72 hours time frame)and now m waiting for my periods to come,i have no side effects after taking plan b,no symptoms of pregnancy and no sign of periods y m i not getting periods? what are my chances of being pregnant? i have taken home pregnancy test but it says negative,since i have taken plan b already when should i expect my periods again? please help me..

Hi Sonucool,
Thanks for your question and for finding EmpowHER. If you are getting a negative pregnancy test, then you are not pregnant. Those tests are super sensitive at detecting the hormones you have in early pregnancy, so if it's not picking it up, you're not pregnant. PlanB is known to mess up your cycle. It's hard to say when you will get your period. You will just need to wait for it, and in the meantime not put yourself at further risk for becoming pregnant so you will know your cycle again.

hey christine...thanks so much for a quick reply, it really helped me to relax a bit...i was worried so much about not getting periods and its first time with me,my periods is regular like 30-35 days but this time it got messed up,i know m only responsible for it though :(, anyway really hope that m not pregnant (as we cannot afford a baby now)and get my periods soon,will wait till the end of this week and lets c how it shows up..will keep u updated, will catch up with u again..bye
