Hi. I had my left overy removed just over 3 months ago. For the first two months I felt fine but then all of a sudden everything changed. I began to get agitated and moody. I experience hot flushes and then cold. But worst of all I feel scared for no reason and usually towards night time. I wake up fine in the morning. I've recently talked to my surgeon about some of this but I didn't start having the scared anxiety until a few days after seeing him. He took some blood, I think to check my hormones but I never heard anything back and assumed they must have came back ok. Not sure what to do

Thank you for writing and I'm sorry you are experiencing this anxiety.
You may indeed have a hormonal imbalance and this can cause anxiety. You also be have something going on with your thyroid - I think it's a good idea to call your doctor and have your test results explained to you.
Also ask if your thyroid levels were checked - if not, they need to be.
