Pain is similar to sunburn. Painful to touch. No lumps or pain in left breast.

Guide

Hello Anonymous,

Welcome to EmpowHER. Thank you for reaching out to our community for help. I am sorry that you are having this pain. If it feels like a sunburn, I am thinking nerve involvement. Any type of tingling, burning, or numbness is usually a symptom related to a sensory nerve being damaged, diseased, or injured.

Anonymous, are you male or female? How old are you? Do you have any underlying medical conditions, such as diabetes or peripheral artery disease? These are just two conditions that can cause underarm burning sensation.

Anonymous, have you had a recent injury to that area? How long have you had this pain? Does any thing worsen or relieve the pain?

Consider talking with your primary care physician.

Regards,
Maryann
