Pain, bloating, belching about four inches to right of center front extending to far right. Had sonogram and Hida Scan. Everything normal. Tried OTC meds, no improvement. This has been ocurring for about four years, with about six big episodes, with diminishing of symptoms in between. I have no insurance so don't want to see another doctor that doesn't know what it is and have more tests run because gallbaldder has been ruled out and they do not know what else to do.

Hi Anon,

I'm sorry to hear about your pain. First thought that came to my min were gallstones but you say that was ruled out-- how long ago was it ruled out?

Causes for right abdominal pain include..
Biliary colic or Gallstones
Cholecystitis or inflammation of the gallbladder
Duodenal ulcers
Kidney Stones / ureteric stones
Appendicitis
Ovarian cyst
Ectopic pregnancy
Constipation
Pulled muscle
Trapped wind

Things like trapped wind or pulled muscle don't last 4 years-- but for the other possibilities, you will have to see a doctor, unfortunately. Do you have access to a health clinic that can see you on a sliding scale? If not, where are you located? Perhaps we can help you find one.

Best wishes,

Rosa
