Im 23 years old and I started taking Zarah birth control two weeks ago (Sunday to be exact, the day I started my period). Its been two weeks and a day and im still on my period. Should I be worried, is this normal, should I go see my doctor asap ?

Hello Anonymous,

Welcome to EmpowHER and thank you for coming to us for advice.

Call your gynecologist's office today and report this. Having a prolonged period, especially for two weeks, is not normal and the cause must be determined.
