Plan b and still no period

2-3 days after my period ended my boyfriend and I were fooling about and it got out of hand and he penetrated me without a condom for no more than 2 minutes. This was Dec 31st..he did not ejaculate and we're not sure about any pre-ejaculation, we stopped after that short period of time because I freaked out about that was happening. Less than 12 hours later we picked up a Plan B one step. A few days later I was exreeemly nauseous and attributed it to the pill and maybe a 5 days after taking it had some dark bleeding, not a lot, again another side effect I've read from the plan b. It is now Jan 29th and still no period, though many times my period is all over the place, last month it was around a 45-50 day cycle so it may just be a long cycle

Summary:
Period started: dec 24th
2 min penetration: dec 30th
No ejaculation
Took plan B 12 hours later

Should I stop worrying about being pregnant or is there a legitimate concern?

What you engaged in is called the "withdrawal method", where the male withdraws his penis from the vagina before ejaculating. It is not an effective method of birth control (unless the couple is purposefully practicing this method, with a lot of practice and intent). Typical use of this birth control is only about 70-80% effective at preventing pregnancy (compared to 99%-98% for "perfect use" of the pill and condom, respectively).

If your partner did not ejaculate, there is little to no risk of pregnancy. Pre-cum, most experts believe, does not contain sperm unless there was a previous ejaculation.

As you mentioned, Plan B can lead to breakthrough bleeding or delayed period. Since your periods are irregular, you will need to track the end of the 50-days (counting from Dec 24th as your LMP-last menstrual period).

Have you talked with a GYN about your long (50 day) cycles? It is a good idea to talk with your doctor, and if you have not been to a gynecologist, this is a good time since you are sexually active!

I know that it is know an effective method and it wasn't planned. But since he did not ejaculate in me, or for that matter at all, it happened right after my period ended, and took plan b within 12 hours there is no risk (I know its not NO risk but highly highly unlikely) right?

I say my GP last week for a physical and pap and she gave me a prescription for Kariva because I am not sexually active, and more so to regulate my cycle, which I've been dealing with since I started my period when I was 11 (not 22)

That's right...just like I said above, "if he did not ejaculate, there is little to no risk of pregnancy". We can not say there is "no risk" of pregnancy, because the only zero-percent risk is abstinence (of course), but a man would need to ejaculate in/near/on a woman's vagina in order for her to become pregnant.

Let us know if your prescription helps to regulate your period!
