hi. i'm on my 37th day of cycle today. the longest cycle ive had as far as i remember is 38days. now, i wonder why this happens. i know im not pregnant tho my bf and i had contact last sept.30.i wasnt ovulating that time and plus we use the withdrawal method. i know it aint that easy to conceive right away especially if youre not ovulating and there's a method used. but what could be the reason of my long cycle? ive been waiting for my period to come actually i expected it 3 days ago. my nipples are sensitive and i feel crampings down there which is a sign for me that my period is coming. but it's taking too long that i am worried.

Hi,
Since you have experienced a 38 day cycle before, you are still within the normal range for you. The menstrual cycle is influence by hormones. Likewise stress can cause a delay in the start of a period, again all about the hormones. If you don't get your period within a week, take a home pregnancy test. The pull out method is not effective in preventing pregnancy.
