possibilty of not being pregnant

Hello,I used postinor last month and saw some bleeding,then few weeks after,I saw my period after the end of my period I took HPT(negative result),so this month I took postinor yesterday and the remaining pill covering 12hours today,how long should I wait for any effects(NB;my boyfriend used withdrawal method,but I want to be sure)

Even when you use birth control, there are various things that lessen the effectiveness like not taking them correctly or taking certain antibiotics, etc. As for the Postionor emergency contraception pill, it's overall effectiveness depends on if/how you follow the manufacturer's instructions . See below: How effective is Postinor emergency contraception pill? The sooner you take it, the more likely it is to work. Ideally, you should try to take the tablet within 24 hours following unprotected intercourse, as this is when it is most effective. The efficacy depends on how many hours have passed since you had unprotected sex: • Within 24 hrs - 95% • Between 25-48 hrs - 85% • Between 49-72 hrs - 58% I hope this helps.
